Monica Potter lands comedy pilot at NBC

The network also picked up a workplace comedy pilot executive produced by Jimmy Fallon.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Monica Potter has landed a new comedy pilot at NBC.

The 43-year-old actress will portray a woman with three ex-husbands who struggles to maintain her family life and re-enter the dating pool. Sherry Bilsing-Graham (Friends) and Ellen Kreamer will write and co-executive produce with Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman.

The network also picked up a workplace comedy pilot from Jimmy Fallon. Sharing will follow co-workers in a shared office space, with Jeremy Bronson (The Mindy Project) and Damian Lanigan as writers and co-executive producers with Fallon and Rick Schwartz.

Potter is known for portraying Lori Colson on ABC drama Boston Legal, and Sarah Krajicek-Hunter on TNT series Trust Me. She currently stars as Kristina Braverman on NBC drama Parenthood, which will come to a close after six seasons Jan. 29.
