Drew Carey to welcome Ethan Hawke, Alyssa Milano as 'Late Late Show' guests

Carey will be the show's guest host the week of Jan. 5-9.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- David Arquette, Eric Idle, Ethan Hawke and Alyssa Milano have been booked as guests for The Late Late Show when Drew Carey temporarily takes over the program next month, CBS announced.

Carey will be the show's guest host the week of Jan. 5-9.

Craig Ferguson ended his 10-year stint as the program's emcee Dec. 19. James Corden will be the new host starting in March.

Several entertainers -- including Carey -- will fill in on the show during the interim.

An "after-dark" edition of The Talk starring Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler will also air in The Late Late Show time slot the week of Jan. 12-16. Set to appear on those episodes are Nick Cannon, Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin DeGraw, Seth Green, George Lopez and Ozzy Osbourne. Linda Perry will perform as the house band throughout the week.
