"I am beyond proud of what we accomplished over the course of 100 episodes of Anger Management," the actor told the publication.

"We created something uniquely special with some of the most talented individuals I have ever had the privilege to work with. My sincere thanks to all for their unwavering love and support. Here's to the next chapter."

Sheen will next reprise his Ferris Bueller's Day Off role during a cameo on ABC's The Goldbergs and is reportedly in talks to return for the upcoming series finale of Two and Half a Men in 2015.

Anger Management is based on the 2003 film of the same name starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. The show premiered in January 2012 with a 10-episodes first season and returned for a second one in January 2013.
