Kevin Hart to host 'Saturday Night Live' Jan. 17

Hart is the star of "Grudge Match," "The Ride Along" and the upcoming Sony comedy "The Wedding Ringer."

NEW YORK, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Comic actor Kevin Hart is to guest host Saturday Night Live when the sketch comedy series returns with new episodes next month, NBC announced.

"Very excited to announce @KevinHart4real will host when we return live on January 17!" the show tweeted Sunday.

Hart, 35, is the star of Grudge Match, Ride Along and the upcoming Sony comedy The Wedding Ringer.
