Natalie Morales and Thomas Roberts to co-host Miss Universe pageant

The three-hour program will air on NBC.

NEW YORK, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Television personalities Natalie Morales and Thomas Roberts are to host next month's 63rd annual Miss Universe pageant.

Featuring nearly 90 contestants from across the globe, the beauty competition is to take place Jan. 25 at the Florida International University Arena.

The three-hour program will air on NBC.

This will mark the first time Morales and Roberts take the stage together as co-hosts of the competition.

Morales is the news anchor of NBC's Today show and co-anchor of the show's third hour. Morales previously co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant in 2010 and 2011. Roberts hosts MSNBC's Way Too Early program and is a contributor to Morning Joe. He returns to co-host the Miss Universe pageant for a second time in a row.
