Ernie Hudson to guest star on 'Once Upon a Time'

Huson is best known for his work in the classic "Ghostbusters" supernatural comedies and the HBO prison drama "Oz."

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Ghostbusters and Oz alum Ernie Hudson is to guest star on ABC's fractured fairytale series Once Upon a Time.

Entertainment Weekly said the actor will play Poseidon -- ruler of the sea and father of Merrin Dungey's character Ursula -- when the show continues its fourth season next year.

JoAnna Garcia Swisher also is set to reprise her role as Ariel in the episode.
