LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Scottish-born comedian Craig Ferguson has wrapped up his 10-year run as host of The Late Late Show in Los Angeles.

Friday night's finale opened with an upbeat music video featuring Ferguson urging everyone to "Bang Your Drum" along with footage of dozens of celebrities happily obliging.

Jackson, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, Jane Lynch, Matthew McConaughey, Tim Meadows, Jonny Lee Miller, Bill Murray, Regis Philbin, Ray Romano, Bob Sagat, William Shatner, Michael Sheen, Quentin Tarantino, Betty White, Henry Winkler, Shailene Woodley and Weird "Al" Yankovic.

The finale also included a sit-down chat with former Tonight Show star Jay Leno and the hilarious revelation that comedy icon Bob Newhart was really the man beneath show sidekick Secretariat's faux horse head.

Ferguson announced his intention to leave the CBS program last April, shortly after the network announced Stephen Colbert would be taking over The Late Show from retiring emcee David Letterman.
