Natalie Anderson is declared Season 29 'Survivor' winner

In addition to the Season 29 title of Sole Survivor, Anderson also earned the competition show’s top prize of $1 million.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Natalie Anderson was crowned the winner of Survivor: San Juan del Sur -- Blood vs. Water Wednesday night.

In addition to the Season 29 title of Sole Survivor, the 28-year-old New Jersey resident also earned the competition show's top prize of $1 million.

Anderson previously competed alongside her twin sister Nadiya on The Amazing Race. Nadiya started out on this season of Survivor, as well, but was the first contestant cut from the show.

The CBS program is hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst. The latest season began airing Sept. 24.
