TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- New York's Tarrytown Music Hall says two Bill Cosby shows will go on as planned Dec. 6, but refunds will be made to ticketholders who do not want to go in the wake of the comedian's sex scandal.

The Journal News said ticketholders received an email Friday afternoon, advising them they have the option to get their money back.

"Mr. Cosby's management is now allowing for refunds for any patrons that do not wish to attend the show. Please let me know if I may cancel and refund your order," the message said.

Cosby, 77, has long been the subject of sexual abuse allegations, but he has never been charged with a crime related to them. He did, however, settle a civil lawsuit with one of his accusers.

The recent mention by another standup comic of the women's past claims sparked a media firestorm, prompting more than a dozen women to come forward in recent weeks to say Cosby sexually abused or raped them. Cosby -- speaking mainly through his lawyer -- has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

As a result of the negative attention on the once-beloved entertainer, Netflix and NBC swiftly canceled projects they were working on with Cosby, while several venues also scrapped scheduled performances of the former Cosby Show star's one-man act.
