MCINTYRE, Ga., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Reality TV personality Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell says she will not be spending Thanksgiving with her mother "Mama June" Shannon and her 9-year-old sister Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson.

The family starred on the docuseries Here Comes Honey Boo Boo until last month when TLC canceled the program because the matriarch was once again dating Mark McDaniel, a registered sex offender who was recently released after serving a decade in prison.

Cardwell has accused Shannon's former -- and apparently present -- boyfriend of sexually assaulting her when she was a child. Cardwell has publicly expressed feelings that her mother has betrayed her by letting McDaniel back in her life.

"It is the first holiday without them," Cardwell, now 20, told E! News about her family. "And I [haven't] talked to them in a while and they're probably going to go eat somewhere or spend it with my aunt, but it's fine."

Cardwell said she will celebrate Thanksgiving with her daughter and the family of her husband Michael.

"It is a little [hard] 'cause I can't spend it with my [family,] but it will be fine," she insisted.
