NEW YORK, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Teresa Giudice says she was naive to think being on The Real Housewives of New Jersey would be fun.

The 42-year-old reality star said as much to executive producer Andy Cohen on part two of the season six reunion show on Thursday. Giudice has starred on the program since its debut in 2009, and was disappointed when Dina Manzo's return to the series failed to improve her experience.

"I was like, 'This is going to go back to season one. I came on the show for fun and it went a totally different way,'" she shared. "I mean, look at where I'm at now. I was so naive."

"There were people that came on the show that tried to hurt [husband] Joe [Giudice] and I," she related. "Some of them were housewives and some of them were strangers. Like even people that just came to parties started a lot of trouble."

Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to 15 and 41 months in federal prison, respectively, on multiple charges of fraud in October. The couple will serve their terms separately on account of their four daughters, and Joe confessed at the reunion to blaming himself for their family being split up.
