Tina Fey, Amy Poehler to co-host Golden Globes for the 'last time' in 2015

The "Saturday Night Live" alums signed a two-year deal to co-host the award show ceremony after receiving great reviews the first time the had the gig in 2013.

NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Amy Poehler revealed during a visit to the Today show Tuesday that she and Tina Fey will co-host the Golden Globe Awards for the third and last time in 2015.

The Saturday Night Live alums signed a two-year deal to co-host the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's award show ceremony after receiving great reviews the first time they had the gig in 2013, but ahead of their third time as emcees Poehler admitted it was time to retire.

"It's the law of diminishing returns, which is why this is our last time," said the 43-year-old actress while promoting her new memoir Yes Please. "Unless you want to be a perennial host, there's nowhere to go but down!"

"It'll be like our farewell tour," she joked. "We'll be the Jay Z of the Globes and never retire."

The 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on Sunday, January 11, 2015 on NBC.
