Lorraine Toussaint's 'Vee' returning to 'Orange Is The New Black' for third season

Toussant's character Vee was left for dead in the second season finale of the series after she is run over by a car as she tried to escape the prison.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Lorraine Toussaint is going back to Litchfield Federal Prison as she is set to return for the third season of Netflix's original series Orange Is The New Black.

Toussant's character, Vee, was left for dead in the second season finale of the series after she is run over by a car as she tries to escape the prison, but sources tell TMZ she is set to return for filming on Tuesday morning in New York.

It is unclear whether Toussaint will continue to play Vee for the remainder of the season or if she'll just appear in the season premiere or as a flashback later on.

In addition to her role in the Netflix series, Toussaint is a regular cast member on the ABC drama Forever.
