Brad Silbering, 'Jane The Virgin,' director inks overall deal with CBS studios

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Director Brad Silbering is joining CBS Studios full time.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Silbering has inked an overall deal with CBS studios just days after the networks announced it had ordered a full season of his new dramedy, Jane The Virgen, starring Yael Grobglas.

Silbering serves as executive producer as well as director for both Jane The Virgin and the CW series Reign. Most recently, the director developed a 30-minute pilot for the Amazon series Down Dog.

Silbering also has experience on the feature film front and directed 1995's Casper starring Christina Ricci and 1998's City of Angels featuring Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage.
