'Downton Abbey' stars to voice characters on 'Doc McStuffins'

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Several cast members from the British costume drama series Downton Abbey will lend their voices to animated characters on Doc McStuffins, Disney Junior announced Tuesday.

Among the vocal guest stars for the Nov. 2 extended episode of the popular preschool program will be Joanne Froggatt, Lesley Nicol, Matt Milne, Nigel Harman and Robert Bathurst.

The actors will be playing new characters and not cartoon versions of their Downton selves, however.

The episode will follow the title character, a little girl who dreams of being a doctor and has a talent for fixing up broken toys, as she magically travels back to 19th-century England.
