'7th Heaven' cast reunites for family dinner

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Several 7th Heaven cast members reunited on Tuesday.

Jessica Biel, Beverley Mitchell, Barry Watson, David Gallagher, Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks got together and shared a family dinner. Collins posted a photo of the occasion on Twitter, and captioned the picture, "1st time in 8 yrs Joy, laughs!"

Mitchell shared the same snapshot on WhoSay, and wrote, "Something truly amazing happened last night and my heart is overflowing! Love these peeps more than I can ever explain! We were just missing Mack! Feeling so incredibly blessed to have these incredible people in my life!!! #theresnothinglikefamily #7thheaven #love #blessed."

Collins starred as Reverend Eric Camden, a Protestant minister, on the family-oriented drama. Hicks portrayed his wife Annie, with Biel, Mitchell, Watson and Gallagher as their children Mary, Lucy, Matt and Simon. The television couple had three other children, Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) and twins David and Sam (Lorenzo and Nikolas Brino). Rosman and the Brino brothers were not present at the reunion.

7th Heaven premiered in 1996, and aired for 11 seasons on the WB and CW.
