ATLANTA, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- The Walking Dead cast has a few good-natured complaints about co-star Norman Reedus.

The 45-year-old actor portrays Daryl Dixon on the AMC series, and reportedly has a few odd habits on set. The Walking Dead cast revealed the secrets about their co-star in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"Norman is disgusting and he actually licks people," Lauren Cohan shared. "His standard greeting is to lick someone's face when we are covered in [dirt and grime] like this."

"You go on the red carpet with Norman, and he's got the bird or the lick," Andrew Lincoln added. "I think it begins with the bird and then if you grow in confidence or if you really offend him, he will lick you. He's a licker, not a fighter."

"He likes to wipe his dirt on people as well," the actor continued. "That's another thing. At the end of the day if you're wearing white... never wear white around Norman Reedus. It's like the Turin Shroud, he wipes his face on people's vests."

Cohan and Lincoln portray Maggie Greene and Rick Grimes, respectively, on The Walking Dead. The horror series debuted on AMC in 2010, and will return for a fifth season on October 12.
