'Gilmore Girls' coming to Netflix in October

All seven seasons of the show will be available to start streaming Oct. 1.

STARS HOLLOW, Conn., Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Streaming giant Netflix has confirmed that all seven season of the CW series Gilmore Girls will be available to stream this fall.

The comedy-drama was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and aired from 2000 until 2007. The series focused on single mom Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and her daughter, who is also named Lorelai but prefers to go by Rory (Alexis Bledel). The series is set in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Conn. The show is best known for its fast-passed dialogue and multiple pop culture references.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Netflix will begin streaming the show on Oct. 1.
