NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- The Broadway League says theater marquee lights will be dimmed for a minute Tuesday night in honor of the late comedienne and television personality Joan Rivers.
Rivers, who died last week at the age of 81, was a fixture at New York plays and musicals. Two of Broadway's brightest stars -- Audra McDonald and Hugh Jackman -- sang at her funeral last weekend.
