Chuck Todd to sit down with President Obama for first "Meet the Press"

Chuck Todd snags exclusive interview with President Barack Obama as his first guest on NBC's "Meet the Press."

WASHINGTON, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Sunday will be Chuck Todd's first broadcast as the new moderator of NBC's "Meet the Press" and his first guest is a good one: President Barack Obama.

The exclusive sit down will mark Todd's debut as the permanent host of the long-running Sunday morning talk show.

Todd takes over for David Gregory who left the broadcast in August.

NBC said on Thursday the interview will cover a wide-range of topics including the threat of ISIS, U.S. relations with Russia and Ukraine, the Ebola virus outbreak, the coming midterm elections just to name a few.

The interview will take place Saturday at the White House.
