Halle Berry's 'Extant' is moving to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays

LOS ANGELES, July 28 (UPI) -- Halle Berry's freshman sci-fi drama Extant and the veteran police procedural Criminal Minds are scheduled to swap time slots starting Wednesday, CBS announced.

Starring Berry as Molly Woods -- an astronaut reconnecting with her family after a year in space -- Extant will air at 10 p.m. from now on. Criminal Minds will screen at 9 p.m.

Oscar-winning actor Louis Gosset, Jr. is to guest star as Molly's father Quinn on Wednesday's episode of Extant. Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the show co-stars Goran Visnjic, Michael O'Neill and Grace Gummer.
