LOS ANGELES, July 24 (UPI) -- Iggy Azalea has been tapped to host MTV's revival of House of Style.

The 24-year-old singer will explore the relationship between fashion, music and technology over an eight-episode run in August. Each episode will follow Azalea as she takes viewers from vintage stores to music video sets, and highlight different designers, celebrity style-setters and emerging trends.

The series originally premiered in 1989, and featured Cindy Crawford as host. The program focused on fashion, modeling and the modeling industry, and addressed controversial topics like eating disorders. The show ran for six seasons with Crawford as host, and was ultimately canceled in 2000. Bar Refaeli and Chanel Iman collaborated on a one-episode revival in 2009.

Azalea promises the reboot will be "wild, crazy, fun and fascinating all at the same time." The new season of House of Style premieres August 4 on MTV.
