NEW YORK, May 1 (UPI) -- Chyler Leigh and Jennifer Esposito are among the stars in upcoming series Taxi Brooklyn.

The new NBC action-comedy features Leigh (Grey's Anatomy) as Cat Sullivan, a New York detective who teams up with cabdriver Leo Romba (Jacky Ido) to solve cases. Esposito (Blue Bloods) stars as Monica, Cat's friend and colleague, who also helps with her work.

"We find them standing over a few dead bodies throughout the series," executive producer Gary Scott Thompson says. "They're sarcastic toward each other, but they have a past. And something that happens that tests their relationship at the end of the season."

Taxi Brooklyn premieres June 25 on NBC.
