'Parks and Recreation' Season 6 finale features Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama tries to convince Amy Poehler's "Parks and Recreation" character to take a job in Chicago.

LOS ANGELES, April 25 (UPI) -- First lady Michelle Obama displayed her acting chops Thursday in the Season 6 finale of NBC comedy Parks and Recreation.

She joined a slew of other guest stars, including Jon Hamm and musical acts Letters to Cleo, The Decemberists and rapper Ginuwine for the episode.

Obama played herself, the keynote speaker at the National Parks conference in San Francisco. She tries to convince Amy Poehler's character Leslie to take a new job in Chicago.

"Well, you know how I feel about Chicago," she tells Leslie.

"You are from Chicago, so you like it," Leslie responded. “I agree with you on all things throughout history and till the end of time, forever."

The two share an awkward high five before Obama concludes her cameo appearance.
