LOS ANGELES, April 18 (UPI) -- Actor Columbus Short of Scandal dodged questions during a red carpet interview about his future on the hit television drama and charges of domestic violence.

Short was at an event when a reporter asked him whether he would be fired from the show for his recent domestic violence charges.

"Everything's great," said Short about his career. "I don't know what all the noise is about."

When the reporter asked him if his wife's allegations were true, Short replied, "Is everything your wife says true?"

Scandal finished its third season Thursday and a new contract for Short, who plays lawyer Harrison Wright, has not been confirmed.
