LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Erin Andrews will replace Brooke Burke-Charvet as co-host of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles, UsMagazine.com reported Monday.

Fox Sports reporter Andrews -- who competed on the show in Season 10 -- will appear alongside longtime "DWTS" co-host Tom Bergeron in Season 18.

"The paperwork is being finalized but it is happening," a series source told UsMagazine.com.

Burke-Charvet announced during the weekend she had been fired from the show after eight seasons as a co-host. Producers later confirmed the news, but didn't offer a reason for her dismissal.
