Emily Blunt gives birth to a daughter

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- U.S. actor John Krasinski announced via Twitter his wife, British actress Emily Blunt, has given birth to their first child, a daughter.

"Wanted to let the news out directly," Krasinski tweeted Sunday. "Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!"

Krasinski, 34, and Blunt, 30, were married in 2010, TVGuide.com said.
