Jim Parsons to host 'Saturday Night Live'

NEW YORK, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Jim Parsons is to make his debut as guest host of "Saturday Night Live" in New York, NBC announced.

The musical guest for the March 1 episode will be Beck.

Parsons is the star of the sitcom "The Big Bang Theory."
