Idina Menzel to sing 'Let It Go' at the Oscars

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Tony Award-winning singer, songwriter and actress Idina Menzel is to perform "Let It Go" at next month's Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles, producers said.

The song from the animated film "Frozen" is up for the Best Original Song Oscar.

Oscars show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced Menzel's booking Tuesday.

Ellen DeGeneres is to serve as host of the March 2 event, which is scheduled to air live on ABC.
