Penny Marshall, Lorraine Bracco to play lesbians on sitcom

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- U.S. actresses Penny Marshall and Lorraine Bracco are to play a lesbian couple in the upcoming Fox comedy series "Mulaney," TVGuide.com reported.

The sitcom is based on the life of comedian John Mulaney. It is about his relationships with his boss, played by Martin Short, his roommates and his neighbors.

Marshall and Bracco will play a lesbian couple who are friends with Mulaney's neighbor, played by Elliot Gould, TVGuide.com said.
