LOS ANGELES, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Madonna, 55, and Miley Cyrus, 21, sang a mash-up of the songs "Don't Tell Me" and "We Can't Stop" in Los Angeles for Cyrus' "MTV Unplugged" special.

The much-hyped duet took place at the end of the hour-long broadcast, with both recording artists wearing western-style outfits, the New York Post reported.

Cyrus also sang "Jolene," "Rooting For My Baby," "Drive" and "Wrecking Ball" during the program, which was taped Tuesday and aired Wednesday, the newspaper said.
