LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Jimmy Kimmel and Sofia Vergara read nasty Internet comments about each other on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

Kimmel introduced the segment by explaining how he has been spending a lot of time online and discovered the "most dangerous neighborhood in the country is actually the comments section on every web page."

Kimmel then suggested he and Vergara read each other some of the mean remarks people make online, which included insults about both of their appearances, as well as Vergara's acting ability and voice, and Kimmel's sense of humor.

The segment ended with Vergara slapping Kimmel across the face and storming off the stage before collapsing into giggles with Kimmel's sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez.
