LOS ANGELES, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- "House of Lies Live!," an improvised stage special starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell and taped in Los Angeles, is to premiere online Dec. 30, Showtime said.

The live, unscripted show was recorded at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. It will air on Showtime Dec. 31 after its debut on Sho.com and YouTube.

"With help from improv veterans and series stars, Emmy winner Ben Schwartz and Josh Lawson, Golden Globe winner Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell leave their characters behind to try their hand at long-form improv, along with Season 3 guest stars, comedians Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Gaul and Eugene Cordero," Showtime said in a news release Monday.

Season 3 of "House of Lies" is to debut Jan. 12.
