Keri Russell foils burglars in her Brooklyn home

NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- A man and a woman were arrested for allegedly breaking into actress Keri Russell's Brooklyn brownstone Wednesday, the New York Post reported.

Russell, 37, was asleep on the first floor of her home when she heard the burglars talking at 3 a.m., the newspaper said.

The star of TV's "The Americans" and "Felicity" called 911. Police arrived and arrested the pair, whose identities were not reported.

The man and woman had tried to steal a computer and other items, the Post said.

Russell is married to carpenter Shane Deary and they are the parents of two young children. It was unclear who else was home at the time of the burglary.
