NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson are to perform at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting in New York, NBC said Tuesday.

Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Goo Goo Dolls, Ariana Grande and Jewel are also to take the stage at the Dec. 4 event.

Presiding over the festivities will be "Today" anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales.

At the center of the celebration will be a 76-foot Norway Spruce, 47 feet in diameter and weighing approximately 12 tons. The tree is estimated to be about 75 years old, NBC said.
