LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Actor Brant Daugherty and his professional dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, were eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Monday night.

The couple got the boot because they had the lowest combined judges' scores and viewer votes.

"I learned a lot about myself," Daugherty said, upon learning his fate. "I am very, very grateful for the opportunity."

Daugherty is known for his work on TV's "Pretty Little Liars," "Days of Our Lives" and "Army Wives."

Returning next week to battle it out for the "Dancing with the Stars" mirror-ball trophy are actresses Elizabeth Berkley, Leah Remini and Amber Riley, singer-actor Corbin Bleu, comedian Bill Engvall and reality TV personality Jack Osbourne.
