LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Cybill Shepherd says she wants to reunite with her former "Moonlighting" co-star Bruce Willis for a movie version of their 1980s TV series.

"I want it," Shepherd told E! News Thursday. "Invite [show creator] Glenn Gordon Caron and tell Bruce Willis! I'm ready. ... I'm on board."

"Moonlighting" was a dramedy about a former fashion model and a private detective who team up to solve crimes in Los Angeles.

The show ran on ABC for five seasons until March 1989.
