Bob Saget says he has been single for nine months

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian and actor Bob Saget is denying a media report claiming he is engaged and planning a wedding.

"I've been single for nine months," the former "Full House" and "America's Funniest Home Videos" star told UsMagazine.com Wednesday.

"I haven't been in a jewelry shop for a very long time," he said. "I read stuff on the Web and Google myself -- I wish I was the person I say I was."

Saget and his attorney wife, Sherri, divorced in 1997 after 15 years of marriage. They have three daughters together.
