Joe Scarborough and his wife divorced in January

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- TV personality and former U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough, R-Fla., divorced Susan Waren, his wife of 12 years, in January, TMZ reported Thursday.

Scarborough is the host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program. Waren as an aide to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

The Scarboroughs were married in 2001 and have two young children together.

They filed for divorce in September 2012 and it was finalized in January 2013, TMZ said.
