LOS ANGELES, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Hollywood couple Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom spent their fourth wedding anniversary apart, E! News reported.

The couple tied the knot Sept. 27, 2009, after a whirlwind courtship, but did not mark the anniversary of their wedding together this year.

Odom, a professional basketball player, was arrested last month for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. His arraignment is set for Oct. 10.

He was suspended by the NBA twice in 2001 for violating the league's drug policy for using marijuana.

The athlete's alleged substance abuse reportedly has caused tremendous strain on his marriage to the reality TV personality, and the pair have been separated for weeks.
