Laura Dern is officially divorced from Ben Harper

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Laura Dern's divorce from singer Ben Harper has been finalized, TMZ reported.

Harper filed for divorce from Dern in 2010 after five years of marriage and two children.

The couple attempted to reconcile last year, but Dern later decided she wanted to end the marriage.

A Los Angeles judge has signed the divorce petition, the terms of which are confidential, TMZ said Tuesday.
