'Walking Dead' tops DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Season 3 of the zombie-apocalypse TV series "The Walking Dead" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending Sept. 1 is "The Great Gatsby," followed by "Pain & Gain" at No. 3, "Epic" at No. 4 and "Sons of Anarchy: Season 5" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Super Buddies" at No. 6, "Barbie: Mariposa & the Fairy Princess" at No. 7, "Olympus Has Fallen" at No. 8, "Oblivion" at No. 9 and "GI Joe: Retaliation" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Aug. 31 is "Pain & Gain."

"Olympus Has Fallen" is No. 2, "42" is No. 3, "Mud" is No. 4, "The Big Wedding" is No. 5, "Scary Movie V" is No. 6, "GI Joe: Retaliation" is No. 7, "Admission" is No. 8, "Killing Season" is No. 9 and "Identity Thief" is No. 10.
