NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake is to reunite with his former *NSYNC band members for a special performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, the New York Post reported.

The ceremony is to take place Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

MTV has already said Timberlake will perform at the VMAs and receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

The Post quoted sources as saying Timberlake's former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will also join him onstage for a reunion performance at some point during the show.
