LOS ANGELES, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- New Jersey actor James Gandolfini's Rolex submariner watch was stolen from his hotel room in Italy hours after he died, TMZ reported.

An insurance form filed by Gandolfini's representatives claimed there was no damage to the Rome hotel room and the report didn't mention any sign of forced entry related to the theft, the celebrity news website said.

"The Sopranos" Emmy Award-winner died of a heart attack while on vacation with his family in June. He was 51.
