CNN's Jake Tapper to guest star on 'All My Children'

STAMFORD, Conn., Aug. 2 (UPI) -- CNN's Jake Tapper has taped a special appearance on the soap opera "All My Children" in Stamford, Conn., The OnLine Network announced Friday.

Tapper will play Spencer Phillips, a reporter from "Business News Update" on the Aug. 12 edition of "AMC."

Phillips will be looking for comments regarding the action on the show from characters Brooke English and Dixie Cooney, played by Julia Barr and Cady McClain respectively.

The first season finale of the Internet version of "All My Children" is to air Sept. 2.
