Freddie Prinze Jr. to share scenes with David Boreanaz on 'Bones'

LOS ANGELES, July 26 (UPI) -- Freddie Prinze Jr. has booked a guest appearance on the upcoming ninth season premiere of the U.S. television series "Bones," E! News reported.

Prinze will play a CIA agent in the investigative drama's Sept. 16 episode.

The show stars David Boreanaz, a former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star of Prinze real-life wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Prinze is known for his work in the movies "She's All That," "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "Scooby-Doo" and "Brooklyn Rules." He also appeared on episodes of TV's

"Psych," "24," "Friends" and "Boston Legal," and starred in the short-lived sitcom "Freddie."
