LOS ANGELES, June 13 (UPI) -- British actor Hugh Dancy says his "Hannibal" character Will Graham will continue to suffer in the final two episodes of the show's first season.

Graham is an academic working with the FBI to catch a serial killer. As the critically acclaimed show's first season draws to a close, Graham has been experiencing emotional and mental breakdowns.

"I can tell you it gets even worse," Dancy told TV's "Access Hollywood" about the final two episodes of Season 1.

"Things aren't looking great for Will right now and I guess that the whole aim of this season was really to bring that to a crux. I don't want to tell you where we end up, but it's strong stuff," he said. "I think we leave it in a very, very tasty place for Season 2."

So, how does the cast and crew feel about the series renewal?

"We're delighted," Dancy said.
