Kim Kardashian says her baby is a girl

LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) -- U.S. reality TV star Kim Kardashian has confirmed she and beau Kanye West are expecting a daughter in July.

Kardashian, 32, revealed the baby's gender on Sunday's Season 8 premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

"I'm so excited we're having a girl. Who doesn't want a girl? I think they are the best," Kardashian said. "I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted -- he wanted a little girl."

Kardashian's mother and sisters threw a baby shower for her during the weekend, People.com said.
