LOS ANGELES, May 31 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Dick Van Dyke says titanium dental implants are to blame for his recent illness.

"It seems that my titanium dental implants are the cause of my head pounding," Van Dyke said via Twitter Thursday. "Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for all your replies."

People.com said Van Dyke's publicist canceled a scheduled appearance in New York last month because the 87-year-old television icon was suffering "fatigue and lack of sleep resulting from symptoms of a yet-to-be diagnosed neurological disorder."

Van Dyke didn't say in his tweet what he will do now that he knows what the problem is.
