LOS ANGELES, May 29 (UPI) -- The producers of "Two and a Half Men" are looking for an actress to play the daughter of the late character Charlie Harper on the U.S. sitcom, Deadline said.

Charlie Sheen played Harper until he was fired at the end of Season 8 for his drug use, erratic behavior and insubordination to show creator Chuck Lorre.

The ninth season kicked off with Harper's funeral.

Deadline said Season 11 will begin with the introduction of a new female cast member in her late teens or early 20s who shows up on Walden Schmidt's doorstep searching for her father, who used to own Schmidt's house.

Ashton Kutcher plays Schmidt.
